HEALTH IS WEALTH - It is a proverb in our land which I used to hear from my childhood.It is true in all senses as the prime and essential quality of a person is a healthy body. The real meaning of a healthy body is a body without diseases.Huge and fatty body is not recommended. Indian religious tradition teaches that human beings, generally speaking, can have two commendable aspirations. One is called wordly prosperity and wellbeing, the other is called spiritual illumination and freedom.The health comes in the first catagory.Only a healthy body can preserve a healthy atma or spirit.Only a person with good health can reach to the spiritual realm, otherwise he is likely to fall down before attaining the goal.
A man must preserve the following qualities for leading and maintaining good health 1.Take minimum and regular food with regular intervals. 2. Do not eat heavily and highly rich food and maintain moderation in food habits.. 3.Take as far as possible vegetarian food and try to avoid meat etc.Our teeth is actually made in support of this factor.There is a general wordings in our land, a man taking only one meal a day, he is considered as a Yogi, if he takes two meals per day, he is called as a Bhogi(Comfort seeker), if a man takes three times meal, he is considered as a Rogi(Patient) and those who take more than three times, for them there is no salvation. Anyhow take food only as per the real need of our body. 4. Try to avod Alcohol and smoking habits.5.Sexuality only as per the call of the body, but it should not be excess or artificial.6.If married , He or She must have only one opposite sex.7.Regular movement of the body is also recommended for maintaining good health. This can be done either by walking, doing some manual work and practicing simple hatha yoga. Various Yoga practices are very useful in maintaining good health.8.Avoid tension and keep the mind with pleasure and laugh occassionally which will enrich the body by flowing more blood to the whole system.It will also enrich the heart. I am sure that all these things are known to all readers, however I suggest them for my own satisfaction.

Yoga is the science and technology of body, mind and soul researched,approved and acclaimed all over the world is sure to bring peace,happiness and success in life. Yoga develops personality and skill. It teaches how to face and solve all the tiring problems of day to day life. Yoga the only answer to the physical,mental and spiritrual sufferrings of modern man .Yoga the golden path to health and happiness.Yoga cure not only the symptoms but the diseases itself. It strengthens and activate the natural resistance of body and mind.If a person is not capable to do hatha yoga practices, he can very well practice a part of it known as Pranayama (breathing exercise) and Meditation with the instruction of a spiritual teacher (Guru). Pranayama is useful for exhailing negative energy from the body and to fill the body with ample quantity of oxygen.Oxygen in sufficient quantity is essential for all organs of the body including heart. Lackness of Oxygen may cause Angeina in the heart which may leads to cardiac arrest or mayocardial infraction.So Pranayama definitely helps to overcome this stage. Meditation is very useful for tranquility of the mind.
Nowadays in the whole world, one can find various diseases either it is bacterial and non - bacterial and many modern medicines for all these diseases are available in the medicine market.There are many permanent diseases like Diabetics,Heart diseases, Asthma,obesity, collostrol, Blood pressure, Mental depression etc. I am of the view that all these diseases are created by our siociety by the wrong life style.All these diseases can be controlled to a great extent by good and moral way of living duly mingling with the nature.
Our character plays an important role in maintaining all the above good qualities. .Absence of anger, elation,indignation, avarice, delusion, vanity and enemity; speaking truth;moderation in eating;refraining from exposing others' weak points; freedom from jealously; sharing one's good things with others; sacrifice;straightforwardness;gentleness; quietude; self-control; friendliness with all beings; absence of cruelty, contentment, - these form the approved conduct for men of all stations of life. By observing them duly one becomes universally benevolent.I think it is not possible for the majority to do these practices fully, but I am of the view that it can be done to a certain extent which will definitely suffice the purpose greatly.
IT IS ALWAYS ADVISEABLE TO BELIEVE IN GOD AS PER ONE'S BELIEF.It will definitely give us lot of confidence and mind control to refrain from malicious thinking and lead a good life with ethics.
